About the Role
Job Summary:
Keep equipment in good working order by performing basic maintenance and repair on large diesel trucks and agricultural application equipment, under the direction of our Shop Manager. Assist with field work including but not limited to: Custom applying chemistry, spreading fertilizer, and driving truck whenever needed to deliver products to our machines or the customers locations.
Responsibilities:
Maintain equipment: Check fluids, change oil, grease, and clean equipment.
Repair Equipment- trouble shoot and solve basic mechanical issues and tackle larger projects in conjunction with shop manager.
Apply fertilizer and Chemistry (serve as a backup to our applicators or pitch in when busy season is occurring)- Will need or can obtain WI Pesticide applicators license soon after hire.
Deliver fertilizer, chemistry, seed and water. - CDL preferred but will train the right candidate with applied skillset.
Benefits:
Competitive Pay: $20-$24/ Hour based on experience level/ qualifications. Higher rate of pay is negotiable with larger skillset.

Requirements
Educational Requirements:
No formal education required. Agricultural, Mechanical, or Equipment operating background is a plus.
Experience Requirements:
Experience or familiarity with large equipment and diesels engines is required. Being an expert is NOT a requirement, as we have one of the best shop managers around that you can work with and learn from. CDL is preferred, but we will train the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
